The 4 Core Visa Requirements

These are the key requirements set by the Spanish Government for your long-term student visa.

1. Accredited Course

Your Intensive 20 program fulfills the 20 hours/week legal requirement.

2. Health Insurance

Must be a Spanish private policy with full coverage, zero copays.

Full medical coverage in Spain

Valid for the entire duration of your stay

3. Background Check (FBI)

Mandatory for stays over 180 days (9 & 12 months).

FBI Background Check required
Federal Apostille is mandatory
Valid for 90 days from the issue date

4. Visa Appointment (BLS)

Applications must be submitted physically at BLS International.
